1. Who we are and acceptance of these Terms
1.1 These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the TaskIt mobile platform and related services (“TaskIt” or the “Platform”). They form an agreement between the person using TaskIt (“User” or “you”) and:
RAZHORD TECH S.R.L.
Calea Dorobanților 55, Ap. 20
400117 Cluj-Napoca, Cluj County, Romania
Trade Register number: J2021005494124
Fiscal code (CUI): 45203552
Email: contact@taskit.ro
RAZHORD TECH S.R.L. is referred to in these Terms as “TaskIt”, “we”, “us” or “our”.
1.2 You accept these Terms by creating an account or otherwise using TaskIt. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use the Platform.
1.3 Our Privacy Policy separately explains how we process personal data. It is provided for transparency under data-protection law and is not converted into contractual consent merely by being referenced in these Terms.
1.4 The Platform is provided for use in Romania. Mandatory legal rights that apply to you cannot be excluded by these Terms.
2. Definitions
In these Terms:
- “Poster” means a User who publishes a Task;
- “Tasker” means a User who submits an Offer or may perform a Task;
- “Task” means a request for lawful services or assistance published by a Poster;
- “Offer” means a non-binding proposal submitted through TaskIt stating an amount and willingness to discuss or perform a Task;
- “Assignment” means the in-app status created when a Poster selects a Tasker’s Offer;
- “User Arrangement” means any separate agreement that a Poster and Tasker may make directly with each other regarding scope, price, time, payment or performance; and
- “Content” means information or material submitted by a User, including profile information, Tasks, Offers, messages, photographs, reports and reviews.
3. TaskIt’s role
3.1 TaskIt provides digital tools through which Users can publish and discover Tasks, submit and select Offers, communicate, record Task status and review each other. TaskIt does not itself perform Tasks.
3.2 TaskIt is not a party to a User Arrangement. TaskIt does not employ Taskers, act as their agent, supervise their work, determine their working time, set the amount they must charge, or guarantee payment.
3.3 Selecting an Offer creates an Assignment on the Platform. The Assignment and completion controls exist to organize the Task and determine when review functionality becomes available. By themselves, these controls are not intended to create or enforce a User Arrangement. Users can agree, change or reject their own arrangements through messages or other direct communication, subject to applicable law.
3.4 TaskIt does not guarantee that a User will respond, attend, perform a Task, perform it to a particular standard, or pay the proposed amount. An accepted Offer records only the amount proposed through TaskIt; it may not be the amount ultimately agreed or paid outside the Platform.
3.5 TaskIt is not an employment agency, temporary-work agency, professional-certification body, insurer, payment institution, escrow service or emergency service.
3.6 Nothing in these Terms creates employment, agency, partnership, joint venture or fiduciary duties between TaskIt and a User, or between Users. The legal nature of a User’s own activities is determined by applicable law and the real circumstances, not merely by the label used in these Terms.
4. Eligibility and accounts
4.1 You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into these Terms.
4.2 You must provide information that is accurate and not misleading and keep it reasonably current. You must not impersonate another person, create an account for someone else without authority, falsely claim qualifications or use a name, photograph or badge in a deceptive manner.
4.3 An account is personal and may not be sold, transferred or shared. Unless TaskIt permits otherwise, each person may maintain only one active account.
4.4 You are responsible for protecting your password, email account, device and authentication codes. Notify contact@taskit.ro promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. You remain responsible for your own conduct through the account; this does not make you responsible for activity caused by TaskIt’s breach of its legal duties or security obligations.
4.5 TaskIt may be browsed through guest access. Guests cannot publish Tasks, submit Offers, send messages, bookmark Tasks or publish reviews. Provisions relevant to browsing, intellectual property, acceptable use and liability also apply to guests.
5. How Tasks, Offers and Assignments work
5.1 A Poster may publish a Task with a title, description, category, locality, desired date, budget and photographs. The Poster must describe the Task honestly and provide information reasonably necessary for a Tasker to assess it without publishing unnecessary personal or confidential information.
5.2 A Tasker may submit an Offer stating a proposed amount. An Offer may be edited or withdrawn through the available Platform controls. Offers must be genuine and must not be submitted merely to manipulate, spam, harass or obtain contact information.
5.3 A Poster may select an Offer, which assigns that Tasker in the Platform. The Poster may unassign the Tasker. A Task that has an assigned Tasker must first be unassigned before it can be deleted where the Platform requires this.
5.4 TaskIt does not force either User to proceed. A User should promptly communicate if they cannot attend or no longer intend to proceed. Repeated no-shows, bad-faith withdrawals, deliberate time-wasting or misuse of Assignment/completion controls may lead to warnings, feature restrictions, suspension or termination.
5.5 Users involved in a Task can mark it as completed through the Platform. A completion status supports record-keeping and review eligibility; it is not TaskIt’s certification that work was completed, accepted, lawfully performed or paid.
5.6 Open Tasks can be browsed and filtered by locality, radius, recency, proposed budget or date using available controls. TaskIt does not currently sell paid ranking or give verified Users preferential ranking. If ranking or paid placement changes materially, TaskIt will provide the legally required information.
5.7 Closed Tasks may remain identifiable in bookmarks or conversations so Users understand the context. Completed Tasks are archived for the involved Users and appear closed to others. Deleted Task content is removed, although a minimal title or deleted/closed status can remain in an existing conversation as explained in the Privacy Policy.
6. User Arrangements, payment and taxes
6.1 Posters and Taskers are responsible for agreeing directly on the scope of work, timing, price, materials, expenses, cancellation, access, safety precautions and method of payment. Users should record important terms clearly in their conversation.
6.2 All payments currently occur outside TaskIt. TaskIt does not collect, hold, transfer, refund, charge back or guarantee money. Users are responsible for choosing a lawful and safe payment method and keeping any receipts or evidence they need.
6.3 A Poster must not knowingly request work they cannot lawfully obtain and should pay any amount they directly agreed with the Tasker, subject to their legal rights concerning non-performance, defects or disputes.
6.4 A Tasker is responsible for:
- declaring income and paying all applicable taxes and social contributions;
- determining whether their activity requires registration as a professional, PFA, company or other authorized form;
- obtaining and maintaining every licence, permit, authorization, insurance, training or qualification required for the Task;
- issuing receipts, invoices or other documents required by law;
- complying with employment, health and safety, consumer, transport, environmental and other rules applicable to their activity; and
- informing the Poster if they act as a professional or trader and providing legally required information before making an arrangement.
6.5 TaskIt does not verify a User’s tax status, trader/professional status, licences, insurance or qualifications unless a feature expressly states otherwise. A User must not interpret an identity-document badge as confirmation of any of these matters.
6.6 If TaskIt becomes legally required to collect, verify, retain or report information concerning activities or income facilitated through the Platform, Users must provide accurate information reasonably requested for that purpose. TaskIt will provide the privacy and other information required by law before beginning such processing.
7. Safety and responsibility between Users
7.1 Users must exercise independent judgment before meeting, allowing access to property, handing over goods, making payment or performing work. Where relevant, Users should verify identity, experience, qualifications, insurance and licences directly.
7.2 Posters must provide a reasonably safe environment, disclose known hazards relevant to the Task, provide accurate access instructions privately, and avoid exposing Taskers to unlawful or undisclosed risks.
7.3 Taskers must use appropriate care, tools and protective equipment, follow applicable safety requirements, and refuse work they cannot perform lawfully or safely.
7.4 Users are responsible for securing valuables, keys, access codes, animals and private information. Precise addresses and access information should be shared only with the selected person and only when necessary.
7.5 TaskIt cannot guarantee the identity, background, conduct, ability or intentions of a User. If there is an immediate threat to life, safety or property, contact the Romanian emergency service at 112 or the competent authority. Do not rely on an in-app report for an emergency.
8. Prohibited Tasks and conduct
8.1 You must not use TaskIt to request, offer, arrange, facilitate or promote:
- unlawful activity or an unlawful service;
- weapons, explosives, controlled drugs, stolen goods, counterfeit goods or other prohibited items;
- sexual services, trafficking, exploitation, gambling, money laundering or transfer of money for strangers;
- violence, threats, harassment, hate, discrimination or invasion of privacy;
- childcare/babysitting, personal care or unsupervised assistance for elderly or vulnerable persons, medical diagnosis or treatment, or transport of passengers;
- handling of dangerous substances, hazardous waste or activities presenting an unreasonable risk of serious harm;
- regulated electrical, gas, construction, transport, security or other professional work by a person who lacks the legally required authorization;
- academic cheating, falsification of documents, fake reviews or deceptive activity;
- surveillance, tracking, account access, circumvention of security or collection/disclosure of personal data without a lawful basis;
- tasks involving cruelty, neglect, illegal trade or unsafe handling of animals; or
- any Task prohibited in our in-app rules or safety guidance, provided those rules are consistent with these Terms and applicable law.
8.2 You must not:
- submit false, deceptive, duplicate or fictitious Tasks, Offers, accounts, reports or reviews;
- spam Users or advertise unrelated services;
- harass, threaten, pressure or defraud another person;
- demand or share unnecessary CNPs, identity documents, payment-card credentials, passwords or access codes;
- scrape, crawl, copy or harvest Platform data by automated means except where mandatory law expressly permits it;
- probe, bypass, overload, interfere with or gain unauthorized access to the Platform, another account or non-public data;
- introduce malware or malicious code;
- manipulate ratings, completion records, visibility, rate limits or other Platform functionality;
- sell, transfer or lend an account; or
- evade a restriction or create a replacement account after suspension or termination without TaskIt’s permission.
9. User Content and licence
9.1 You retain ownership of your Content. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit it and that it is accurate, lawful and consistent with these Terms.
9.2 By submitting Content, you grant TaskIt a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, resize, reformat, transmit and display that Content only as reasonably necessary to:
- operate and provide the Platform features you request;
- make Content available to the intended audience, including public access to avatars and Task photographs;
- secure, maintain and troubleshoot the Platform;
- review reports and enforce these Terms; and
- comply with applicable law and valid legal requests.
This licence permits TaskIt to use service providers for those purposes. It does not transfer ownership to TaskIt or permit unrelated advertising use of your Content without another lawful basis or permission.
9.3 The licence ends when the Content is deleted from TaskIt’s systems, except to the extent that:
- Content remains under a retention rule described in these Terms or the Privacy Policy, including certain messages or reviews shown as from a “Former user”;
- another User has independently saved or copied it;
- a restricted copy is lawfully preserved for a report, safety matter, legal obligation or legal claim; or
- residual backup copies expire through the ordinary protected backup cycle.
9.4 Avatars and Task photographs are public media and may be accessible to anyone who obtains the direct URL, including outside the Platform. Do not upload public Content that you intend to keep confidential. Messages, message photographs, feedback attachments and identity documents are not intended to be public.
9.5 You must not submit Content that infringes copyright, trademark, privacy, image, confidentiality or other rights. A rights holder or affected person may report allegedly infringing or unlawful Content under Section 11.
9.6 TaskIt may make technical copies and resized versions of photographs. Removal is subject to the deletion and retention rules in the Privacy Policy.
10. Reviews
10.1 A review must concern a genuine experience connected with a Task and reflect the author’s honest experience. Reviews must not contain threats, harassment, unlawful discrimination, irrelevant personal data, knowingly false factual allegations or prohibited Content.
10.2 Buying, selling, exchanging, coercing, fabricating or coordinating reviews is prohibited. A User must not threaten a negative review to obtain money, additional work or another benefit. Retaliatory or manipulative reviews may be removed.
10.3 Reviews become visible when submitted and can be edited by the author for 24 hours. Users cannot ordinarily delete a review after that period through the Platform, but may report it or request assessment where they believe it is unlawful, violates these Terms, or engages a legal right.
10.4 TaskIt does not verify the truth of every review and does not guarantee that reviews are complete, accurate or representative.
10.5 If an author deletes their account, a review they wrote may remain on the reviewed User’s profile with the author link and photograph removed and the label “Former user”. This is pseudonymized and is intended to remove direct attribution, but the text or circumstances may still identify someone. The review remains until the reviewed account or review is removed, subject to applicable law and the Privacy Policy. Reviews received by a User are deleted when that User deletes their account.
11. Reporting, content moderation and blocking
11.1 Users can report a User or available Content through the Platform or by emailing contact@taskit.ro. A notice concerning allegedly illegal Content should identify the exact Content and its location, explain why it is considered illegal, provide the reporter’s name and email address except where the law permits otherwise, and include a statement that the report is submitted in good faith and is accurate and complete to the best of the reporter’s knowledge.
11.2 TaskIt may ask for information reasonably necessary to assess a report. It will handle sufficiently precise notices in a timely, diligent, objective and non-arbitrary manner. Where contact details are available, TaskIt will acknowledge an illegal-content notice and communicate its decision and available redress as required by law.
11.3 TaskIt may leave Content available, reduce its visibility, close or remove it, issue a warning, restrict a feature, cancel an Assignment, suspend an account, or terminate an account where it reasonably considers that Content or conduct:
- violates these Terms or applicable law;
- creates a safety, fraud, security or legal risk;
- infringes another person’s rights;
- manipulates or seriously disrupts the Platform; or
- is necessary to address a valid order or legal request.
11.4 Where TaskIt restricts Content, service access or an account because of alleged illegality or incompatibility with these Terms, it will normally send the affected User a clear and specific statement of reasons by email no later than when the restriction takes effect. The notice will identify the nature and scope of the decision, principal facts and contractual or legal ground, any use of automation, duration where known, and available ways to seek review. TaskIt may withhold or limit notice where permitted or required by law, including certain deceptive high-volume commercial Content or where disclosure would conflict with a lawful order or investigation.
11.5 A User can request human reconsideration by replying to the decision email or contacting contact@taskit.ro with the relevant account and decision details. TaskIt may maintain a more formal complaint procedure where required by law.
11.6 Moderation is currently reactive and performed by humans. TaskIt does not currently use AI or automated content classification. Technical rate limits can automatically restrict unusually frequent actions but do not make decisions intended to have legal or similarly significant effects.
11.7 TaskIt may report information to competent law-enforcement or judicial authorities where required by law, including where it becomes aware of information giving rise to a qualifying suspicion of a criminal offence involving a threat to life or safety.
11.8 Blocking prevents specified contact through available Platform functions. It does not remove Content already lawfully retained or prevent every possible interaction outside TaskIt.
12. Identity-document badge
12.1 The optional badge means only that TaskIt manually reviewed an identity document submitted by the User and accepted the request under its limited review process.
12.2 The reviewer checks whether the document appears genuine and whether its name appears consistent with the profile at the time of review. TaskIt does not perform a comprehensive identity verification, face match, liveness check, uniqueness check, background check, criminal-record check, professional-status check, licence check or qualification check.
12.3 The badge is not an endorsement, warranty or guarantee of the User’s identity, current profile name, character, competence, reliability, safety, professional status or suitability. A User’s profile name can be edited after the review, and the badge indicates only that a document was accepted at an earlier time.
12.4 The badge does not affect ranking, eligibility or visibility. TaskIt may reject, remove or require renewal of a badge where information is inconsistent, misleading, expired, suspected to be false, or otherwise unreliable.
12.5 Identity-document processing and deletion are explained in the Privacy Policy.
13. Fees
13.1 TaskIt is currently free to use and does not charge listing, offer, subscription, commission or payment-processing fees.
13.2 TaskIt may introduce optional or paid services in the future. Before a fee applies, TaskIt will clearly disclose the service, total price, billing terms, cancellation conditions and effective date and will obtain any agreement required by law. No new fee will apply retroactively to a completed period or arrangement.
14. Suspension, termination and account deletion
14.1 You may stop using TaskIt and delete your account at any time through Profile → Account → Delete account.
14.2 TaskIt may restrict or terminate Content, functionality or an account for the reasons in Section 11.3. Action can be immediate where reasonably necessary for safety, security, suspected fraud, repeated or serious violation, legal compliance, protection of other Users, or preservation of the Platform.
14.3 Where proportionate, TaskIt may first provide a warning or opportunity to correct the issue. TaskIt is not required to provide advance warning where delay could increase harm or undermine enforcement. Reasons and review options are provided as described in Section 11.4.
14.4 A suspended or terminated User must not create another account or use another person’s account to evade the measure.
14.5 Account deletion removes or changes Content according to the Privacy Policy. In particular, certain messages and authored reviews may remain under “Former user” for the disclosed period or context, while reviews received by the deleted account are removed. Content already copied by another User cannot be withdrawn from that person’s independent possession.
14.6 Sections that by their nature must continue—including provisions concerning User Arrangements, retained Content licences, intellectual property, responsibility, liability, disputes and general interpretation—survive termination to the extent necessary.
15. Availability, changes to the Platform and third-party services
15.1 TaskIt aims to provide a reliable service but does not promise uninterrupted availability. Maintenance, security incidents, provider outages, legal requirements or technical failures can delay or interrupt access.
15.2 TaskIt may add, change or discontinue features for valid reasons, including improving functionality, adapting to demand, responding to security or abuse, changing providers, or complying with law. Where a change materially and negatively affects the digital service supplied to consumers, TaskIt will provide the information, notice and termination rights required by applicable law.
15.3 TaskIt depends on third-party infrastructure and services, including mobile operating systems, app stores, hosting, authentication, maps, email and push notifications. Separate terms from Apple, Google or another provider may apply to the User’s direct relationship with that provider.
15.4 Apple and Google are not parties to these Terms and are not responsible for TaskIt’s operation, support or User Arrangements, except for obligations they have under their own terms or applicable law.
16. TaskIt intellectual property
16.1 The Platform—including its software, design, databases, branding, name, logo and materials supplied by TaskIt—is owned by or licensed to TaskIt and protected by applicable intellectual-property law.
16.2 Subject to these Terms, TaskIt grants you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable and non-sublicensable right to access and use the Platform for its intended purpose.
16.3 You must not copy, sell, sublicense, reverse engineer, modify, distribute or create derivative works from the Platform except where mandatory law permits the activity despite this restriction.
16.4 If you voluntarily submit product feedback or ideas, TaskIt may use them without payment or obligation, provided this does not authorize use of your personal data contrary to the Privacy Policy or applicable law.
17. Privacy
17.1 The TaskIt Privacy Policy describes the personal data processed through accounts, profiles, public photographs, Tasks, Offers, messages, reviews, location features, identity-document reviews, notifications, reports, moderation and technical services.
17.2 Do not publish unnecessary personal data, precise addresses, access codes, identity numbers or confidential information in public profile or Task fields. Share necessary private details only with the intended User and at an appropriate stage.
17.3 A User receiving another person’s information must use it only for the relevant Task or communication and must not publish, sell, scrape, harass, market to, or otherwise misuse that information.
18. Service standards, disclaimers and liability
18.1 TaskIt will provide its own digital service with the degree of care and in conformity with mandatory requirements applicable to it. Nothing in these Terms excludes a consumer’s mandatory remedies concerning TaskIt’s digital service.
18.2 Information, Offers, reviews and services supplied by Users are User Content or User activity. TaskIt does not generally pre-screen them and cannot guarantee that they are accurate, lawful, available, safe or suitable.
18.3 To the extent permitted by law, TaskIt is not responsible for a User’s acts or omissions or for loss arising solely from a User Arrangement, including non-attendance, poor workmanship, property damage, injury, theft, payment disputes or tax/professional non-compliance by a User. This does not exclude responsibility to the extent loss is caused by TaskIt’s own breach, wrongful act or omission.
18.4 TaskIt is not liable for an interruption or failure caused by an event outside its reasonable control where it took the care required by law, including serious provider outages, communications failures, natural events, public-authority action, war, civil disturbance or widespread cyberattack.
18.5 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by fault, or mandatory consumer rights.
18.6 Each User remains legally responsible for their own unlawful conduct, breach of another User’s rights, infringement of intellectual property, or damage they cause. This clause does not impose a broader consumer indemnity than permitted by applicable law.
19. Changes to these Terms
19.1 TaskIt may change these Terms for a valid reason, such as a change in law, regulation, security risk, Platform functionality, business model or provider, or to make the Terms clearer.
19.2 Material changes will be communicated in the Platform or by email within a reasonable period before they take effect, normally at least 15 days. A longer period will be provided where reasonably necessary for Users to adapt.
19.3 A change may take effect sooner where needed to comply with law, respond to an unforeseen and imminent security or abuse risk, prevent fraud, or make an urgent non-adverse correction.
19.4 If a change requires express agreement under applicable law, TaskIt will request it. Otherwise, the revised Terms will apply from their stated effective date to continued use of TaskIt. A User who does not agree may stop using TaskIt and delete their account before the effective date.
19.5 Editorial corrections that do not alter rights or obligations may take effect when published.
20. Complaints, governing law and disputes
20.1 Questions or complaints about TaskIt can be sent to contact@taskit.ro. Users should include enough information for TaskIt to locate the relevant account, Content or decision, but should not email passwords or unnecessary identity documents.
20.2 These Terms and the agreement between a User and TaskIt are governed by Romanian law. A consumer also retains any mandatory protection provided by the law that applies to them and cannot be displaced by a choice-of-law clause.
20.3 The parties should first attempt to resolve a dispute concerning TaskIt directly. If it cannot be resolved, either party may use the courts that have jurisdiction under applicable law. A consumer is not required to bring proceedings only at TaskIt’s registered office where mandatory jurisdiction rules give the consumer another forum.
20.4 Consumers may contact the Romanian National Authority for Consumer Protection:
Autoritatea Națională pentru Protecția Consumatorilor (ANPC)
www.anpc.ro
Consumers may also use an applicable alternative dispute-resolution body or procedure. Participation and binding effect are determined by the law and rules applicable to the particular dispute.
20.5 Disputes between a Poster and Tasker concerning their User Arrangement are between those Users. TaskIt may provide account or Content information only as permitted or required by law and the Privacy Policy.
21. General provisions
21.1 If part of these Terms is invalid or unenforceable, it will be interpreted or limited to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue to apply where legally possible.
21.2 A delay or failure by TaskIt to enforce a provision is not a waiver of the right to enforce it later.
21.3 You may not transfer your account or contractual rights and obligations without TaskIt’s prior written consent, except where mandatory law permits otherwise. TaskIt may transfer this agreement as part of a merger, reorganization, financing or transfer of its business, provided the transfer does not reduce mandatory User rights and Users receive notice where required.
21.4 These Terms and documents expressly incorporated into them constitute the agreement concerning use of TaskIt. The Privacy Policy is a separate transparency notice and is not itself a waiver of data-protection rights.
21.5 Section titles are for convenience and do not alter interpretation.
21.6 TaskIt may communicate service and legal notices through the Platform or the email associated with the account. You should keep that email address current and review messages concerning your account.
